Last time the Contest as an independent project was held in December 2006 (photos).
For four years CTC has been an organizator of festival-contest "Fashion Improvizations" which unified creative children's, teenager's and youth's initiatives in the field of garment designing and modelling.
Contest discovered big interest of participants to the opportunity to realize all ideas and conceptions. It was countinued in International project "Couturier of the Year", winners who got vocational training represented Petrozavodsk in russian finale in Moscow.
This project was a real step to making professional enviroment for those who choose professions connected with designing, modelling and manufacturing clothes. Active interest in Contest was shown by educational garment designing and modelling institutions who are interested in entrants having certain knowledge and skills in this field.
