"Literary Vacations" is a project of children’s literary creation.

In days of school autumn vacations CTC together with schools and cultural organizations conducts a unique programm "Literary Vacations".

Its purpose is to:
- accustome young generation to world literature masterpeaces and richness of own language
- develop literary creation and abilities of public perfomances

Project includes:

1. Contest of artistic word "Glagol" (for students of 9-11 grades)
   - recitation of world literature pieces (including recitation in foreign languages).
2. Contest "Literary Tournament" (for students of 6-8 grades)
   - interesting game with intellectual and creative tasks.
3. Contest of Young tale-teller (for students of 4-5 grades)
   - recitation of own tale.

Participants can visit special literary classes, practical training on scenic speech, meetings with significant creative people of the city, contest perfomances and festive activities.

Besides traditional contests every year the project is supplemented with some alternative ones. Best fairy-tales were suggested to illustrate and together with tales draws-winners were included to a book "Collected Fairy-tales". The book is of exclusive meaning and not offered for sale, goes as a prize to children-winners.

Project "Literary vacations" is appealed to become an active intellectual rest for schoolars!
